Directors
Colin Herman BSc MRICS
Colin joined the firm as a commercial property agent in 1988 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1993. He became an Equity Partner in 1999, leading the Commercial Agency Team across East London and Essex. Colin was appointed Managing Director in July 2025.
Ben Collins BSc (Hons) MRICS
Ben has been with the firm since 2011, originally joining as a graduate and working his way through the ranks to Equity Director in 2025. Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013, he is a recognised regional agent based at our Rainham office, heading up the Commercial Agency Team across East London and Essex.
Chris Tidder BSc (Hons) MRICS
Chris joined the practice in 2004 and is currently responsible for leading the Professional Team from the Watford office, specialising in valuation and Landlord and Tenant work across London and Hertfordshire. Chris was appointed Finance Director in July 2025
Mike Lawrence BSc MRICS
Mike has been with the firm since 1994 and heads up the London Office and Residential Land & New Homes team.
Tom Kinloch BSc (Hons) MRICS
Tom is Head of the Commercial Management Team and has been with Kemsley LLP since 2002 based in the Chelmsford office.
Tim Collins
Tim heads the Chelmsford Agency Team and is a recognised regional agent, advising a wide range of public and private sector clients on commercial property sales, lettings and development consultancy, including residential land. Tim operates across the length and breadth of Essex.
Dan Butcher BSc (Hons) MRICS
Dan joined the practice in 2006, initially as a graduate within the Professional Department. He still specialises in valuation and Landlord and Tenant work across London and the Home Counties.
