Kemsley LLP Annouce Two Key Promotions

The Directors of Kemsley LLP are delighted to announce two promotions:-

Chris Tidder MRICS, 01708 766733, has become a Director of the firm with immediate effect. Chris joined the practice in 2004 and is currently responsible for leading the Professional Team from the Romford office, specialising in valuation and Landlord and Tenant work across East London and Essex.


Dan Butcher
MRICS, 01245 358988, has become an Associate within the Commercial Property & Asset Management Management Team, based in the firm’s Chelmsford office. Dan joined Kemsley LLP in 2006 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2009. He specialises in property management and takes an active role in leading the team, acting on behalf of a wide range on private and public sector clients both regionally and nationally.

Kemsley LLP Sell Residential Development Site at Oaklands Avenue, Romford

Kemsley LLP are pleased to announce completion of the sale of a 0.25 acre development site in Oaklands Avenue on the edge of Romford town centre.

Kemsley LLP were instructed to sell the land on behalf of Galleons Housing Association (now Peabody Trust).

The site had a lapsed planning consent for the erection of 8 residential units. We understand that a revised planning application for residential development is to be submitted by the purchaser (Great Homes Ltd).

Kemsley LLP Sell Site in Romford for Residential Development

Working on behalf of Graspace Ltd, Kemsley LLP have recently disposed of a 0.84 acre development site on the outskirts of Romford town centre.

The site was sold upon an unconditional basis to established developers Hollybrook for over £1 million pounds with a 6 day exchange and 14 day completion!

Kemsley LLP Let New Premises to Subway in Essex: Basildon & Rayleigh

Subway have opened two new outlets via Kemsley LLP’s, Basildon office, which are now open and trading in 2014.

Bakers Court, Basildon

Bakers Court, East Mayne, Basildon, has secured Subway franchisees on a prominent and highly visible trade counter scheme located on the corner of Paycocke Road and East Mayne.

Following an extensive refurbishment program, Subway opened in February 2014 in Unit 2, with a space totalling 1,447 sq.ft (164 sq.m) net, let on a new 15 year lease.
